Kemalak is a systems integrator dedicated to helping their customers make informed decisions through the right tools, knowledge, and solutions.
Jointly developed with Information Systems Laboratories (ISL), RFView® for MAK ONE combines ISL’s decades of expertise in radar simulation with MAK’s multi-domain, terrain-agile synthetic environments—delivering fully correlated SAR imagery that integrates seamlessly with EO/IR sensor and out-the-window views.
In the world of defense training and education, the gap between theory and practice can be tough to bridge. At the Naval Postgraduate School’s MOVES Institute, that gap is being closed every day with the help of MAK ONE.
As part of their graduate programs in Modeling, Virtual Environments, and Simulation, MOVES students are, of course, learning the theory behind military training systems. They’re also designing and running simulations that mirror the tactical and strategic challenges they’ll face in real-world command and control environments across the Department of Defense. At the heart of that hands-on experience is the MAK ONE suite of simulation software, including VR-Forces, VR-Link, and VR-Exchange.

When I joined MAK in the mid-90’s, one of my first responsibilities was to sign international distributors to represent MAK worldwide. One of the first that MAK signed was a small UK company called Transformation, which eventually became part of Antycip Simulation—a company that has since evolved into ST Engineering Antycip.
Over the years, MAK and ST Engineering Antycip, now sister companies, have grown from small start-ups to leading providers of simulation solutions across the NATO countries.

The HLA standard has advanced once more—perhaps without much fanfare, but in a significant way. The latest version, IEEE HLA 1516-2025, is being referred to as HLA 4, to distinguish it from IEEE 1516-2010, which was nicknamed HLA Evolved. The "4" signifies that this is essentially the fourth major revision of the standard. It has been a large, collaborative effort involving coordination across the industry. MAK’s own Doug Wood, a Principal Engineer on our Link team, was deeply involved in this latest revision—as he has been with previous ones—but the work was carried out by a team of outstanding individuals from many organizations, including competitors, coming together to improve interoperability.
